some assistance please.

What is compassion? What does it mean? what does it mean to you? And do men and women view compassion the same way? Just something that I am struggling to understand right now.

To me, my friend, compassion is willing to reach to one in need despite all the static and inner voices of insecurity and fear pressing me to avoid such a one.

Compassion love another more than preserving self in safety.

I love you today my friend!

To me, compassion is an genuine emotion that you feel when someone else is hurting. It is about the emotion you have on the inside when you want to put everything else in life to the side and be with this person and their need. That might sound like an "enabler" but I don't think it is. If you truly care about someone, compassion means you can lay everything down and love them through what they are going through.

Thanks Brenda and Terry, I think it is good to have an outside on something before you act on it. I find that sometimes my thoughts are not always correct and when that I happens I tend to over or under react to a situation. Thank you for taking time to share a part of your heart. Chad
